Our names are Jenny and Nicola and we are sister-in-laws living in the middle of beautiful countryside in the East of England. We share a passion for filling our homes with wonderful things. Four years ago our friends and family urged us to start a giftware business so that we could share that passion- The Big Red Heart was born!

Our philosophy is simple- we only offer you things that we ourselves would like to receive as a gift.

So far we have been selling our giftware at charity fairs and occasionally at home. Our open days at home always entail tea, coffee, home made cakes, friends and a good deal of chatter- we always have a wonderful time.

Armed with zero experience of ecommerce we are now aiming to spread our wings on this brand new website! We have received help from all sorts of people and look forward to the challenges ahead- please let us know what you think of the service.
